This extremely efficient open-style variac transformer is used to supply electricity between circuits. A low operating torque and a low magnetising current contribute to this transformer's efficient operation. It comprises a silver-plated commutator offering a smooth linear output, no waveform distortion and an integrated overload capacity for safety. There's a continuously variable alternating current output voltage and an overvoltage tap for regulation.
