Part of the RS PRO professional range of single-phase encapsulated variac transformers, this robust tool is designed to supply electricity between two circuits with a high level of efficiency. The rugged transformer can be flash mounted within control panels, enclosures or process equipment. It requires hardly any maintenance and its hardwearing construction offers a long lifetime.

The transformer's silver-plated commutator reverses electrical current, while a low operating torque and a low magnetising current enable efficient regulation. The continuously variable AC (alternating current) output voltage with overvoltage tap means this product can offer a smooth and linear output with high overload capacity that's free from waveform distortion.

This enclosed-style variable transformer from RS PRO has been stringently tested to ensure a high standard of safety and durability. It also meets RoHS standards, so only contains minimal amounts of restricted hazardous substances.
