What is it?
An indicator lens is a raised or flush plastic cap that is fixed onto the top of a panel or stacking indicator.
What does it do?
An indicator lens helps to protect the bulb contained in the indicator body. Coloured lenses also change the white light emitted from a bulb into a particular colour. Colours are used to alert people to a particular action. A good example would be;
RED for stop
GREEN for go
