RS PRO Steel 3mm Diameter Wire Rope Clamp

This RS PRO steel wire rope clamp consists of a U-shaped bolt and a saddle secured by two nuts. It's used to clamp the loose end of a wire rope and loop it back to form an eye so that two wire rope ends can be joined together safely.

The rope clamp is made with zinc-plated steel, which has been treated with a galvanised coating finish. The zinc-plating and the galvanisation process protect the rope clamp from atmospheric conditions and corrosive agents. The galvanised coating has an adhesive strength of up to seven times that of organic paint coatings.

As an RS PRO quality product, this rope clamp has been tested for safety. It meets the European standard EN 13411-5:203 for minimum safety requirements for U-bolt wire rope grips on steel wire ropes. It's designed for fencing applications and isn't suitable for lifting.
