RS PRO Steel Wire Rope Clamp, DIN 1142


This steel wire rope clamp from the RS PRO range safely forms a load-bearing eye. It creates a loop in a wire rope with a diameter of 10 mm and firmly clamps it into place. Also known as a wire rope clip or grip, this clamp has a forged U-shaped bolt and a cast saddle that's firmly secured with two nuts. It can accommodate heavy loads and creates a reliable clamp thanks to its forged steel construction. It's also abrasion-resistant, so it won't be damaged by a wire rope. As this unit meets DIN standard 1142, it's safe to use as a wire rope grip. This clamp isn't designed to form sling assemblies or join two lengths of rope.
