RS PRO Flame Retardant Fibre Thermal Insulation, 90 mm
This RS PRO is an insulator with low thermal conductivity for the slow transfer of heat. It's suitable to use as infill in kiln walls or indoor chimneys structures to stop their surfaces from getting too hot to touch.
The product is supplied in a fibrous roll that's easy to cut and shape to the size you need. It's flame-retardant so won't catch alight in the event of a fire and contains no binders or lubricants. This means itl gives off no odour or harmful vapours as its temperature rises.
You can also use this thermal insulation to line industrial equipment, such as boilers. It improves workplace safety by preventing you from burning yourself when touching hot components. This product meets European Union 97/69 (EC) health and safety standards as it contains no harmful carcinogens.
