RS PRO Flame-Retardant Board Thermal Insulation, 595 mm x 495 mm x 15 mm
This board is the perfect choice for industrial applications which require a rigid insulating material. Made from low bio-persistent wool and a mixture of organic and inorganic binders, this thermal insulation sheet can withstand temperatures in excess of +1150ºC.
The 595 mm x 495 mm rigid board can be die-cut or shaped by a hacksaw blade, so it's easy to create precise blocks to match your insulation needs. This insulation board is resistant to thermal shock, so it's ideal for environments that experience significant variations in temperature. The panel also meets the Note Q requirements of European Regulation 1272/2008, so it is exempt from labelling in Europe.
This thermal insulation sheet is safe for lining kilns and heat-treatment furnaces, as it features low head-storage capacity and thermal conductivity, so it can come in direct contact with flame.
