RS PRO 4mm Red Terminal Post, 30A, 2BA Thread

This red RS PRO 4 mm terminal post has a castellated top, which increases torque when clamping wires, so it's an excellent choice for connecting wires between power supplies and industrial machinery.

The post works with 4 mm unshrouded plugs, which can be inserted in the top (castellated) hole, or in the cross hole at the side of the post when it's in the open position. The terminal post is insulated, with a reinforced nylon body, and applies outward force to an unsprung cylindrical jack through a metal spring.

When using the cross hole, you can fix a safety bung into the castellated top, which will fit flush and prevent probes and plugs from inserting and making unwanted electrical connections. The post measures 33 mm in length when open (with the cross hole accessible) and 27 mm when closed.
