Eaton British Standard Fuse, 80kA Breaking Capacity, Pack of 5 - ESD50

Stop electrical faults in their tracks with this British Standard fuse from Eaton. It breaks when short circuits or overcurrents occur, which protects equipment and cuts downtime out of the picture. Thanks to its low-temperature rise, you can safely install the unit in high-density enclosures. Offset tags make bolting it onto a holder a piece of cake. With an overall length of just 67mm, this compact device takes up minimal space in your switchgear, medical imaging installations and automated factory applications.

Features & Benefits

• 50A current rating for use with heavy-duty applications
• Weighs just 29.85g, putting minimal strain on systems

Which fuse holders are compatible with this British Standard fuse?

The unit slots accurately into Eaton rail mount fuse holders (such as 247-9492).

What type of fuse is this?

This is an HRC fuse, which means it has a high-rupturing capacity as it's made from heat-resistant material filled with powder. Under normal conditions, the fuse element stays below melting point and carries current without a hitch. When the current spikes, it immediately melts and the circuit is broken.
