W4 Series - Miniature


The W4-3 series of photoelectric sensors offer best-in-class performance in a miniature housing design. Using the latest ASIC these sensors provide reliable object detection of transparent and glossy objects like blisters, e-cards and aluminium cans. Optical axes on the flat side enable simple, space-saving integration in machine environments.

PinPoint LEDs detect all kinds of objects including transparent objects, light & dark, large or small and even people. The PinPoint technology enables quick and easy sensor alignment and provides a precise, highly visible light spot that is unaffected by peripheral light.

LED indicators located or the top panel allows the operator to quickly and easily set the minimum and maximum distances. In addition, the IO-Link function offers full process control, from commissioning to service.
