The DFRobot magnetic switch mainly comprises two parts the inducting end and trigger. The former has a reed switch enclosed inside and there is a cable connected to it, and the latter is a magnet enclosed within a plastic case. When the distance of these two parts is smaller than1cm, the reed switch will be connected, by which the position change of an object can be detected for realizing functions like travel controlling, position-limitation protection, etc. Characterized with reliable performance, long life-span, low power consumption, wide voltage range, and high operating frequency, this magnetic switch is very applicable to harsh environments and can be used in door/window position limiting device, intelligent toilet, car/electrical bike anti-theft, smart home, etc.
