Need to enlarge an existing hole? Choose this straight shank reamer bit from RS PRO. It allows you to smooth the sides of holes to ensure they're the appropriate size and finish to accommodate a fastener or similar component.


The reamer bit's high-speed steel (HSS) construction provides excellent heat resistance and durability. The six hardened steel blades sit in tapered keyways and expand as you adjust and reposition them along the bit's body. You can use screwed end caps to fix the blades securely in the required position.


The blade material's Hardness Rockwell C rating of HRC 62-66 means it's highly durable and offers long-lasting performance. This type of reamer bit is commonly used in applications where a high degree of precision is necessary to finish existing holes to the exact size.
