RS PRO PIR Sensor

Save time and energy by automatically controlling lighting devices with this RS PRO detector. The lighting controller comes with a photocell and PIR (passive infrared) sensor, so it not only senses motion but also ambient light. This means the controller won't turn on the lights when there is sufficient daylight – even if movement is detected.

A versatile choice, this ceiling-mounted controller comes with adaptors in case you want to flush mount or surface mount it. The PIR detects movement within a range of 5 to 7 metres, and you can set a time delay ranging from 10 seconds to 30 minutes.

The lighting controller meets a host of international standards that ensure protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). As part of our RS PRO range, it's been strictly tested for durability. Supporting up to 10 lighting ballasts, it's ideal for offices and warehouses where tungsten or fluorescent lighting is used.
