RS PRO PIR Sensor

The RS PRO 895 mW detector and absence detector lets you automate your lighting and electrical appliances. It's commonly found across home and business settings, including offices, storage facilities and retail units.

This device is fitted with both a PIR (passive infrared) sensor to detect movement and a light level sensor that measures when it's getting dark. It comes with an optional manual setting and can also be programmed using an IR (infrared) handset (supplied separately). The output channel consists of a mains voltage relay for simple switching on/off. It can take maximum electricity loads of 10 A for either lighting or ventilation.

As part of the quality RS PRO range, this product has been tested by engineers for safety and reliability. It has an IP40 rating for protection and is made from thermoplastic, a flame-retardant material.
