RS PRO PIR Sensor

The RS PRO wall switch detector uses a passive infrared sensor to work out whether someone is in the room and can also detect when it's getting dark. It's suitable for both residential and commercial settings, such as offices, retail units and warehouses.

This device is capable of switching on up to 10 A of electricity output for traditional incandescent light bulbs or 6 A with fluorescent lighting. The sensor uses body heat to detect occupancy at distances of up to seven metres. It also offers an adjustable time period of up to 30 minutes, so appliances won't switch off while an area is still occupied.

For easy assembly, it can be installed flush or mounted onto the surface of any standard British back box with a depth greater than 25 mm. This detector is available for use with both standard lighting and electrical appliance applications.
