Electromen - EM-346 BLDC MOTOR CONTROLLER, 12-35 V DC, 10 A
The EM-346 is brushless DC-motor drive for motors with hall sensor feedback.The drive has a MOSFET power stage which provides high efficiency and emits very low RF noise making is suitable for sensitive environments.
The driver can be used with 120° commutation. This driver has true 4Q power stage, and it makes possible to use regenerative braking.
In this braking method the supply voltage rises, this voltage rising can be controlled with braking resistor.
If uses battery supply then the braking energy can be leaded back to battery and braking resistor will not needed.
The unit accepts digital and analogue (0-5V or 0-10V) command inputs to control speed and direction, analogue providing proportional control if required
EM-346 has two NPN outputs for fault and overcurrent indication use. Some input and output functions can be modified with parameters.
Driver includes overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature protection and an on board LED can indicate status and fault conditions
There are open and closed loop modes - open loop (direct control) sets the motor voltage proportional to the control voltage and closed loop mode uses hall sensor feedback for more accurate speed control
Start and stop ramp settings are available in both these modes as well as parameters to control speed range, closed loop rpm range
The analogue input is filtered to allow it to accept a PWM signal direct to control speed directly from a PLC
For parameter setting there is 3 options: EM-236 interface unit, EM-268 with Menthol-Lite PC-program and EM-326 with Menthol-App application for smartphone
