The innovative OSRAM OSTAR Observation LED provides a powerful IR LED array. Designed specifically for CCTV applications and for use in night vision equipment; the OSTAR Observation IR LED is the optimum choice for covering long distances and monitoring extensive areas with IR light, especially in applications that require continuous operation and/or high ambient temperatures.

SFH 4740 and SFH 4761
The OSRAM OSTAR Observation SFH 4740 and SFH 4761 are ultra-high power infrared emitters with 850nm. These 10 chip IR LEDs have a viewing angle of 120° and a white frame to help achieve high optical power. With low thermal resistance the SFH 4740 and SFH 4761 are ideal for applications including infrared illumination for cameras, surveillance systems and IR data transmission.

Warning

Depending on the mode of operation, these devices emit highly concentrated non-visible infrared light which can be hazardous to the human eye.
