This cartridge heater is a tube-shaped heating element that's used to apply targeted heat to metal solids. It's part of our stringently tested RS PRO range.

Found primarily in industrial settings, heating cartridges are designed to slide into holes drilled with common English or metric drill sizes. They need to fit snugly to work, so make sure you’ve considered the heater’s intended use before buying. For reference, this cartridge has a diameter of 0.25 inches.

The versatile and robust heater is equipped with a 10-inch lead wire that can withstand temperatures of up to +450°C. As a result, it’s suitable for a wide range of manufacturing processes that require the use of localised heat.
