Cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switches
Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

Typical Applications
These Cynergy3 Horizontal Switches are most likely to be used in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.
Note
Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.

Use this Sensata Cynergy3 float switch to monitor the liquid levels inside an industrial tank. The device is commonly used to prevent overflow when filling a tank and to let you know when levels are low and refilling is needed. The float lies on top of the liquid and flicks the switch using magnetic force when the liquid rises or falls beyond a certain point. As it's a horizontal switch, it mounts to the side of a tank, making it useful for applications where the tank's top or bottom is difficult to access. This type of float switch is commonly used in vending machines and commercial washing machines.
