Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.

These Cynergy3 Horizontal Switches are most likely to be used in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.

This horizontal float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 keeps the liquid level in your tank within a desired range. It can be used in the normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) positions for versatile use. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the switch, so the float moves upwards away from the body instead of downwards. The lightweight nylon body has excellent abrasion resistance, so it won't easily be damaged. Its nitrile gasket provides good resistance to chemicals, making it suitable for use with various organic and inorganic substances and oils. This type of float switch is commonly used to monitor fluid levels in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.

The float switch is designed for horizontal mounting inside a tank. Simply fit it into a 16.5 mm hole from the inside of the tank and use a nylon nut to secure it on the outside.
