Need a float switch that's simple to install? Choose this option from Sensata Cynergy3 to monitor fluid levels. It's designed to be mounted through the wall of a tank using a 1/2-in NPT (National Pipe Thread) thread, without the need to access the inside of the tank. Thanks to polyphenylene sulphide construction with a Viton gasket, it's suitable for use with most organic and inorganic chemicals and oils. This makes it a good choice for use with diesel generators, hydraulic oil and gearbox oil levels. For added versatility, the switch can be set to the normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) position by a simple 180º rotation.

What types of loads can this switch handle?


The switch is designed for signal switching and for use with suppressed coil miniature relays and other resistive loads. It's not suitable for inductive or inrush loads.

Cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switches


Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.
