The Microchip MCP1501 is a buffered voltage reference capable of sinking and sourcing 20 mA of current. The voltage reference is a low-drift band gap based reference. The band gap uses chopper-based amplifiers, effectively reducing the drift to zero. The MCP1501 is available in the 6-Lead SOT-23 package. It used in application like precision DAS (Data Acquisition Systems), high-resolution data converters, medical equipment applications, industrial controls, battery-powered devices and Electric vehicle battery management systems.

Initial accuracy with 0.1% and has operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
Low typical operating current of 140 μA
