RS PRO 40W/m Trace Heating Kit Constant Wattage, Parallel Circuit, 110 V, 50 m
Part of our trusted RS PRO range, this trace heating tape is a versatile and reliable option for use in process temperature maintenance. It ensures constant wattage delivery and can be wrapped around pipework.
In addition to having an outstanding thermal range, the tape has an earth screen braid to protect the conductor from any electrostatic interference. Available in 50-metre lengths, it has an output per metre of 40 W. You'll find one-metre intervals on the outer sheath that have been marked to indicate cutting points. The cable has operating temperatures from -60˚C to +200˚C and comes in a durable silicone rubber sheath.
This parallel circuit heating tape has been tested against international standards (BS EN 62395-1:2006) for electrical resistance trace heating systems. While you can use the tape for indoor and outdoor installations, such as mains and supply piping, it's unsuitable for hazardous areas.
