A tough and accurate spiral point 2 flute threading tap designed to cut a precise, clean 6-32 UNC thread. A versatile cutting tap for use on a wide range of materials including metal, wood and plastic suitable for machine tapping and hand tapping.;Constructed from High Speed Steel (HSS) for a temperature and corrosion resistant, durable cutting tap that won’t crack or splinter under pressure or when used at high speeds. Finished with a steam tempered finish to reduce friction and produce a fine finish thread;Designed with a straight flute supplemented by an angular cutting point to leave the flutes clear of swarf for unrestricted coolant flow.
