Loctite Thread lock
The Loctite 50ml green thread lock is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. This product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. The Loctite 2700 is developed for applications where disassembly is not required.
Features and Benefits
High strength anaerobe screw lock, for long-term sealing of thread connections
Resistant to chemicals, depending on the medium, suitable for temperatures from -55°C → 150°C
Release torque is 20Nm
Dismantling only possible after heating to 250°C
Prevents independent loosening and seal breaks caused by impact or vibrations
Developed for connections that will not be dismantled later
Operating temperature ranges between -55⁰C and 150⁰C
Viscosity of 350 → 550mPa/s
Cure time is 24 hours
