RS PRO 63A Bolted Tag Fuse, A3, 250 V dc, 415V ac, 73mm

Introducing from RS PRO the TIS series bolted tag fuses. These dual-rated fuses are used in motor circuits that require a higher rating and protection when overcurrent or surges are detected. The TIS fuses have a dual current rating and are recognised with the letter ’M’ for continuous current and the operational characteristic rating.

Upon inspection, each fuse is housed within a fuse holder with a tag at either end with mounting through-holes. The RS PRO TIA series offer a voltage rating of 250 V dc, 415 V ac with a 63A current rating. Installation is quick and easy and complies with the fuse standard IEC 60269-2/BS 88-2.

The main purpose of a fuse is to offer circuit protection by acting as the weakest link in the system. It is designed to fail when overloads occur. It’s safer and cheaper to replace a solitary fuse than to replace electrical components within the system.
