The wire protection ensures your attached cables aren't damaged by abrasions caused by accidental contact with the housing ports or other wires. Nickel-plated brass lines the ingress and egress ports to ensure uninterrupted conduction of the electrical current to your components so they can operate effectively. You can firmly connect your wires to the terminals with the captive and raised screw clamps so that they stay in place.
This terminal block is Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) approved which means you're assured a quality and safe product. You can use it for electrical connections in outdoor and indoor settings.
