This compact portable isolation transformer from RS PRO is designed for use with power tools on safety sites. It combines a lightweight design with high-quality construction and strict safety standards, including meeting British standards on reduced low voltage.

The risk of electric shock is minimised thanks to a thermal-magnetic trip that's fitted to the separating transformer to reduce the chance of overload. This isolates any power tools you may have connected from the power supply and can be easily reset manually.

The transformer is fitted with a 16 A Schuko-style plug and encased in a tough housing of GRP (glass fibre-reinforced polyester). It comes with a broad handle on the top for ease of carrying.

Like all of RS PRO's quality transformers, this product has been exhaustively tested to ensure safe and reliable operation. It conforms to BS EN 61558 on the safety of transformers, reactors and power supply units.
