RS PRO, 5 kVA Isolation Transformer, 400 V
This RS PRO 5 kVA isolation transformer ensures safe electrical distribution of 110 V circuits. The transformer steps down a single-phase 400 V ac source to a 110 V ac output, making it ideal for use with power tools and other fixed industrial applications. This transformer is centre-tapped to minimise shock rise.
The rugged construction is housed in a heavy-duty steel casing. Its IP22 rating means the transformer is finger-proof and can withstand dripping water. Part of the RS PRO range, this product is strictly tested by our engineers for quality and durability. This isolation transformer is manufactured in the UK and fully conforms to reduced low voltage regulations BS EN 61588 and BS EN 61558-20-23.
The floor-mounting transformer is designed for indoor applications and is ideal for long-term use in hard-wired electrical applications such as in workshops and garages.
