It allows two safe-area relay loads to be controlled by a proximity detector or switch located in a hazardous area. This type of unit is frequently used in chemical and petrochemical applications. Low power dissipation means it's compatible with a lower voltage, for efficient energy consumption. To ensure greater electrical safety, a line fault detection facility is able to quickly pick up open or short circuits in your field wiring. If an input line fault is found, the device automatically de-energises your output relays without manual intervention.
