Fixed to the side of containers as a sling point for lifting
The ring is kept flat against the container when not in use by means of a leaf spring
The leaf spring also keeps the ring extended at 90° to the container wall when in use. This feature is particularly useful when attaching several hooks to slings positioned around the container
