The Okdo TelePort analog gas MQ-2 sensor, also dubbed as a smoke and combustible sensor, can detect flammable gas and smoke in the range of 300 to 10000ppm. Its gas-sensing material is SnO2 with low conductivity. When the concentration combustible gas in the air rises, the conductivity of MQ-2 sensor will also increase and the output value will get larger. It has high sensitivity to natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and other smoke, especially toalkanessmokeand can detect numerous combustible gases. Therefore, MQ-2 is a low-cost sensor appliedtogasleakdetection devices in households and factories.
