SKF Seal, 60mm Inside Diameter, 95mm Outside Diameter - 60X95X10 HMSA10 RG

This seal is a rotary shaft sealing solution designed to separate rotating and stationary machine parts and to retain lubricants while excluding contaminants. It features a rubber outside diameter and an elastomeric sealing lip backed by a spring to maintain contact with the shaft in contaminated environments, making it suitable for rotating equipment in automation, electronics and mechanical assemblies.

Features & Benefits

• Nitrile rubber lip resists common oils and greases
• Garter spring maintains sealing pressure during rotation
• Auxiliary non-contact lip improves dust exclusion
• Supports circumferential speeds up to 8.58 m/s
• Operates between -40°C to 100°C under normal use
• Withstands short-term temperatures up to 120°C

Applications

• Suitable for rotating motors and gearboxes in automation systems
• Ideal for bearing housings in electrical drive units
• Used with shafts in electronic cooling fans and actuators
• Can be used for sealing grease or oil in industrial pumps

What shaft surface conditions does it tolerate?

It accommodates typical shaft misalignment and moderate surface imperfections thanks to the flexible lip and spring-assisted contact.

What rotational speed limits should I observe?

Maximum recommended rotational speed is 2,760 r/min

stay below this for continuous service.

How does it handle small pressure differences?

The seal is suitable for low pressure differentials around 0.03 N/mm², appropriate for lubricant retention rather than fluid pressure containment.

Are there installation considerations for the housing bore?

The rubber outside diameter requires a correctly sized bore to ensure a proper interference fit and to support the reinforced rubber–metal construction.
