Prevent personnel from getting trapped in guarded areas with this safety interlock component from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley Guardmaster range. It's an escape release designed for use with the 442G multi-functional access box, so it's suitable for larger guard doors and other applications with full-body access. With this unit fitted onto the inside of guarded areas, anyone locked inside can get out quickly and easily. Although its 115m-long shaft is made for 40mm and 45mm profiles, its length can be shortened to allow for installation on different-sized frames.

• Setscrew needs 2Nm tightening torque, meaning it's easy to install by hand
• Holds fast at a force of up to 2000N for reliably secure installation
• Mountable with plates, for use on various surfaces

Can I use this unit on a 30mm-wide profile?


Yes. For this unit to be fitted on a 30mm-wide profile without mounting plates, the length of its actuation shaft should be 43mm. As the standard shaft is 115mm long, you just need to shorten it to the required length.
