3M 3756 Series Flat Cable, 30.48m Cable Length, 26 Conductors - 3756/26-100'SF
This flat cable is a multi-conductor wiring solution designed for interconnection in electronics and automation installations where compact, multi-core routing is required. It features a flexible thermoplastic elastomer outer covering in grey and is intended for use in systems operating at moderate voltages and elevated temperatures within industrial and electrical environments.
Features and Benefits:
• 26 conductors provide dense multi-signal routing and space savings • 30AWG stranded conductors deliver improved bending endurance for assemblies • Tin-plated copper conductors ensure corrosion resistance in contact terminations • 150V rating supports low-voltage control and signal circuits • Rated to 105°C permits operation in warmer equipment compartments • Unscreened construction reduces weight and simplifies handling in non-noisy environments
Applications
• Suitable for harnessing signal arrays in automation control cabinets • Ideal for inter-board connections in test rigs and instrumentation • Used with IDC connectors requiring 0.635mm conductor spacing • Can be used for wiring in electrical panels with multiple low-voltage circuits • Used for Flex runs inside mechanical assemblies where space is limited
How is the conductor configured internally for flexibility?
Each conductor comprises seven round strands of tin-plated copper, which improves flexibility compared with solid cores while maintaining conductivity.
What environmental temperature range can it tolerate during service?
The cable is specified for use down to -40°C and continuous exposure up to 105°C, allowing deployment across chilled and elevated-temperature locations.
Is this cable intended for screened or shielded signal protection?
The construction is unscreened, so it is suited to applications where external electromagnetic interference is minimal or additional shielding is provided elsewhere.
Which flammability test criterion applies to its jacket performance?
The jacket meets horizontal flame propagation criteria as defined under North American UL FT2/Horizontal classifications for similar constructions.

UL, RoHS
