3M 3625 Series Flat Cable, 30m Cable Length, 24 Conductors - 3625/24-30M
This flat cable serves as a Compact multi‑conductor wiring solution for signal and low‑voltage connections in industrial and electronic systems. It is constructed for use where space efficiency and organised conductor arrangement are required, providing a straightforward means to route multiple circuits in confined harnesses while maintaining consistent conductor spacing.
Features and Benefits:
• 24 conductors enable dense multi‑signal routing • 1mm pitch ensures precise connector alignment • 28AWG seven‑strand round conductors enhance Flex performance • Tin plating on copper provides improved contact corrosion resistance • PVC grey jacket tolerates temperatures from -20°C to 105°C • Rated to 300V for common low‑voltage control applications
Applications
• Suitable for internal wiring of automation controllers and panels • Ideal for ribbon connections between electronic modules and sensors • Used with multi‑pin assemblies in test and measurement rigs • Can be used for signal harnesses in machinery loom assemblies
How does the conductor construction affect flexibility?
Each conductor is formed from seven fine strands of round copper, which yields greater bend endurance and reduces stress compared with solid wires for repeated flexing.
What environmental performance should be expected from the outer sheath?
The polyvinyl chloride jacket provides mechanical protection and maintains integrity across the rated temperature span, resisting typical oils and handling abrasion encountered in wiring looms.
Is the cable screened for noise immunity?
The design is unscreened, so it should be routed separately from high‑power conductors or paired with external shielding where electromagnetic interference mitigation is required.
What approvals and regulatory marks apply to this cable?
It meets recognised approval standards for electrical wiring and conforms to RoHS requirements for restricted substances.
Approvals
UL and CSA
