The KTM series of contrast sensors from SICK feature high contrast resolution and an increased dynamic range, which ensure increased performance on shiny materials increasing the range of applications they can be used in. The KTM contrast sensors have robust metal inserts to enable easy integration and are housed in a miniature case. The KTM series of contrast sensors are easy to configure through using a simple teach button to ensure the mark and the background are clearly defined.

KTM Contrast Sensor


This KTM contrast sensor from SICK is ideal for use in the processing industry. The KTM-WP11181P is straight forward and easy to set up and use. Due to its compact design, it can be used where space is at a premium. It can be used to identify any difference in the quality and brightness on the production line and then report this via the control panel. The LED technology automatically selects the LED light colour needed to deliver the maximum light contrast.
