Eaton Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection, 1+N Poles - PXK-C Series - PXK-C13/1N/003-A

Install this Eaton RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) to keep your industrial applications and home appliances running safely. The unit combines the functions of a residual circuit breaker (RCB) and a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) to detect earth fault currents, overload and short circuits. When these irregularities occur, it quickly cuts off the power supply. This protects operators from injuries through electric shocks and prevents damage to your equipment.

• IP20 (ingress protection) rating indicates protection from touch and live wires and prevention of entry of larger corrosive particles
• Breaking capacity of 10kA ensures non-delayed power supply trips before faults escalate
• 30mA high trip sensitivity prevents fatal electrocutions

When should I use an RCBO?

You should use RCBOs in applications such as commercial lighting and office IT systems where there's the need for combined protection against both overcurrents (overload and short-circuit) and earth leakage currents. It's advisable to install them on each separate circuit to prevent faults on one circuit from affecting the functioning of other circuits.

Can I use an RCBO instead of an RCB (residual circuit breaker)?

Yes, because the RCBO performs the functions of an RCB, protecting circuits against current leaks and overloads at the same time.
