P8-V Series Datasheet

Otto P8-V Vandal Resistant Pushbuttons

The P8-V series gives the same quality and precision tactile feedback as the P8 series but comes in a stainless steel vandal resistant case and button. They are sealed to IP68S and IP69K standards and have a mechanical life expectancy of 1,000,000 cycles. The terminals are also sealed giving protection from solder flux and rear of panel harsh environment protection.

Potential Applications

The vandal resistant and sealed nature of these switches makes them ideally suited for door access security systems, public transport systems, emergency phones and traffic signals. They are also ideal for process control environments and anywhere that durability, ruggedness and security are crucial.
