We are pleased to introduce a new range of male XLR panel-mount connectors perfect for creating a custom input /output system for home studios, PA system, or mobile recording equipment. These input connectors are made from high-quality materials, has a voltage rating of 50 V and a 7.5A current rating.

Why would you need a XLR panel mount connector?


These XLR connectors are commonly found within a panel mount configuration, each XLR input should be terminated with the opposite XLR output connector. This setup is ideal for amplifiers, microphones, and audio equipment. When an XLR cable plug assembly connects to a male XLR connector it sends signals to a female XLR which carries a balanced signal which is best for rejecting noise.

We are recommending our own branded RS PRO electrical contact cleaning equipment RS stock no: 917-5914 or RS stock no: 554-298.;It is not good practice to use swabs or cloths as they could potentially leave threads which could result in decreasing contact performance and lifetime.

What is the difference between XLR Male and XLR Female Connectors?


An XLR Male connector has solid pins (usually between 3-pin to 7-pins) whereas the XLR Female is a socket input connector that is paired with a male output.
