The Microchip High side load switch is designed for operation from 1.7V to 5.5V input voltage, featuring an internal 130mΩ RDS(ON) P-channel MOSFET that supports up to 1.2A of continuous current. It also supports 1.5V logic level control and shutdown features. The device offers rapid turn-on in some versions, while others provide slew-rate controlled soft-start turn-on options of 790μs or 120μs, ensuring smooth transitions and protecting the system from in-rush current that could disrupt supply voltage stability.
