The MikroElektronika booster Click board is designed to supply high voltage for Nixie Tube Shields, featuring an LM2577 step-up voltage regulator that enables a two-stage boost from 5V to 150V. It also integrates a 16-bit I/O expander (MCP23017) for precise shield control via the I2C interface, with ADDR SEL jumpers for easy I2C address configuration, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in retro display applications.
