It's switched by a momentary power supply and remains in its position with no electrical assistance. This means that both open and closed are normal states for this device and a change of position requires only a low-energy pulse. You can use this robust solenoid valve to control the flow of compressed air to pneumatic components, such as actuators, cylinders and motors. It has a wide operating pressure range of 1.5 to 10 bar.
