Control your automation system with this logic module from Schneider Electric. The smart relay offers 16 inputs and 10 outputs, to cater for a wide range of automation needs. PLCs (programmable logic controllers) like this one can be used to control motors. As well as turning the motor on when the start button is pressed, there are three main interlocks that will stop the motor when activated. These are motor vibration high, overload and motor temperature high.

Choose between two new series - Compact and Modular. The Compact series is not expandable and is available with the following I/O block sizes: 10 I/O, 12 I/O and 20 I/O.
The Modular series is available with 10 and 26 I/O basic units and is expandable up to 40 I/O with the latter. Apart from this flexibility both new series are programmable using FBD, ladder and Grafcet SFC programming languages.
