Need a self-lubricating plastic that will stand up to abrasion and +100˚C temperatures? This plastic sheet from RS PRO is made of polyamide (PA) with molybdenum disulfide added in too, which increases durability and reduces friction.

The non-laminated polyamide sheeting is highly resistant to ultra-violet (UV) light, so you can use it outdoors. It also offers some resistance to weak acids, which makes it suitable for use in a variety of industrial settings.

The sheeting conforms to US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. It's suitable for building low-friction components such as bushings, bearings and wheels.
