FLUKE Multimeter Fuse, For Use With Series III Multimeters, 10kA Breaking Capacity - FUSE-440MA/1000V B1

Keep your electrical measurements on the straight and narrow with this multimeter fuse from FLUKE. It's a small but significant bit of kit that protects your device from hazardous overloads that could otherwise cause damage. Thanks to its 1,000V rating, this is an ideal choice for jobs involving high-voltage circuits. Simply install it by hand to safeguard your assembly instantly, without the need for specialist tools. Compact dimensions of 35 (length) x 10.3mm (diameter) mean this standard fuse is compatible with many different meters.

Features & Benefits

• Breaks currents that could otherwise cause electric shocks, to boost user safety
• HBC ceramic material is electrically and thermally stable and also resists corrosion, for a long service life
• Current rating of 440mA for wide compatibility with industrial applications

Applications

• Manufacturing facilities
• Power supplies
• Building maintenance

How does this multimeter fuse work?

When an overload travels through the fuse, sand inside disperses the energy safely by absorbing the electrical current and heat and transforming into glass. This process removes oxygen which stops the spread of fire.
