RS PRO Star Delta Starter, Star Delta, 11 kW, 400 V ac, 3 Phase, IP65

This 11 kW three-phase star delta starter lets you start motors at a lower voltage. This makes it a practical option when you're using a motor intermittently or with frequent starts and stops. A star delta starter consists of three efficient contacts, along with a timer and a thermal overload to prevent it overheating. Star delta motor starters control winding currents only.

You might like to fit your starter motor with an overload to protect against electrical surges, but this one is supplied without. You will need to choose a compatible overload from the RF38 series (for example stock no. 685-1309) to match the full-load current of your motor.

This device has a moulded plastic case that is sturdy enough to provide IP65 ingress protection, guaranteeing an effective seal against dust and high-pressure water jets from any direction. It operates at temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C and can be found in manufacturing environments.
