Introducing the RS PRO Multifunctional Moisture Meter, a highly reliable device used to quickly and effectively measure moisture content in a range of materials, including wood, plaster and concrete. In addition to measuring the moisture content, this high-quality device can also measure temperature and humidity for additional flexibility across applications. The RS PRO moisture meter features two pins that are placed onto the material surface for accurate moisture measurement that’s easy to use, portable and suitable for use in most environments.

What is the difference between pin and pinless?


A pin-type moisture meter (or damp meter) contains metal points that are inserted into the material to take a reading, whereas a pinless meter uses non-invasive technology that's non-destructive to detect how waveforms are affected by the presence of moisture in the material.
