As the unit has type B tripping characteristic, it triggers when loads between 3 and 5 times its 10A rated current are detected. This makes it suitable for resistive and small inductive load applications in residential buildings, offices and shops. The breaker has a high breaking capacity of 10kA to cope with surges from lighting installations and electrical equipment.
