To prevent short-circuit damage, wire your electrical equipment to this miniature circuit breaker from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. It's a 2-pole device that can supply switching for two channels or AC (alternating current) circuits. The type C unit breaks the circuit when the current reaches five to ten times its rated load of 32A, so you can use it with high inductive loads such as washing machines or electric motor fans. The back of the device features a clip that secures to a DIN rail, so installation is quick to carry out.
